Faculty

Classrooms

• Department has sufficient classrooms for conducting lectures and tutorials for the program.
• There are six lecture classrooms for the program, two lecture classroom for each year of the program as there are two sections in each year.
• Classrooms are well ventilated and provided power plugs for PC and Projector.
• Department has a tutorial room for conducting tutorial sessions for the program.
• Department has seminar room in the college to conduct workshops, seminars and guest lecturers. This seminar hall is equipped with computer systems with video projector, Internet and Uninterrupted Power Supply.
• All the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year sudents have the separate classrooms for core/electives.
• All the students have the commom room for seminars, Conference, Workshop etc.

Teaching Aid

• The department also has audio and video systems(Multimedia Projectors) with high speed internet connectivity
• Course related Power Point Presentation(PPT) and video presentation materials of reputed institutions are available in the department for self learning and leisure learning.
• All classrooms are equipped with Blackboard.
• Classrooms have good ventilation and is well audible.
• Classrooms have 30 tables with benches to accomodate students.
• Classrooms are with 4 feet wide door exit for easy emergency escape.
• 10 feet wide and long corridors leading up to staircase is provided at the door exit of the classrooms.
• The staircases are broader(6 feet wide)for easy and faster movement.
• Adjoint to the staircases, lift is available with a capacity of 8 persons.

Computer Lab

• Internet facility has been provided without limitation by the department to the students and faculty
• The latest sophisticated equipments are purchased every year for the development of the academic and infrastructure.
• All labs are provided with Uninterruptible power supply(UPS).
• Teaching and learning process was improved by implementing project exhibition, video presentation and soft skills development programs.

Department Library

• Department library furnished with 300 books. It has various Computer Science and Engineering related books such as IoT, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Big Data Analysis etc.., from different authors, Journals, CD’s and Magazines for students reference. NPTEL video library and lectures also effectively utilized by the students..

• The department has initiated the research and development among the faculties and students for their innovative ideas in different specialization of Biomedical Engineering. The department has PhD holders with good publication record and on going research in the field of Computer Science and Engineering.
